Michael J. Hausman, Esq.
Michael J. Hausman is the principal of the firm and concentrates his law practice in advanced wealth transfer planning for high net worth individuals, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, investment bankers and real estate developers. He has extensive experience and creative skills in the following areas of law:
- Drafting sophisticated estate planning documents, wills, and trusts
- Tax planning for individuals, trusts, and estates
- Preparation and filing of estate tax returns and gift tax returns
- Representation of individuals and corporate fiduciaries

Michael is an innovative and creative counselor who will help you protect your assets, minimize taxes and develop a plan for you, your family and your business. He is responsive, strategic and knowledgeable. To him, clients are family. Michael is an entrepreneur and managing partner who puts clients’ interests first. Before founding the Hausman Law Group Michael was a co-founder of a boutique wealth transfer law firm founded in 1993.
Professional Associations and Community Involvement
Michael is committed to serving the community and advancing the profession of law. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., which is a non-profit association that assists lawyers, bar associations and others who work with older clients and their families. He has lectured before numerous groups and organizations. Michael is a member of the New York State Bar Association, its Trusts and Estates Law Section and its Business Law Section. He is the founding father of a chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Education
Michael received his Juris Doctor from Union University, Albany School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration concentrating in financial analysis from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Janice L. Holsborg, Esq.
Janice L Holsborg is an Associate with the firm who has practiced with Michael J. Hausman for many years. Her focus is on preparing legal documents that ensure clients’ goals and objectives are achieved. Janice enjoys providing clients with excellent service and effective counsel. She is focused, knowledgeable and attentive to detail. Janice’s legal skills include:

Education and Associations
Janice received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School classs of 2003. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Janice received honors from the Honors College and departmental honors, class of 2000. She is a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Associations.
Jodi Vosilla
Jodi Vosilla has vast experience as a paralegal in connection with Estate Administration. For over 20 years Jodi has worked extensively with clients and their families to assist them during a highly emotional time in their lives. She has extremely strong communication skills and takes great pride in her work. Jodi cares deeply about our clients and ensuring that the lines of communication are clear and always open. She is a major asset to our clients and the firm.

Neil H. Kupferman, Esq.
Neil was admitted to the Bar in 1995 in both New York and New Jersey. He spent his first two years of practice with the New York City Economic Development Corporation acting as Senior Leasing Counsel. He went on to receive the 1996 Presidents Award for his work in commercial leasing. Neil also served for one year as Associate Counsel at the law firm of Richards & O’Neil, LLP. Neil founded his own firm in 1998 and has been representing all types of clients in the area of transactional Real Estate. Neil has been a valuable resource to the clients of Hausman Law Group.

Adam Lusthaus, Esq.
Adam Lusthaus is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and his office is in Boca Raton. He focuses his legal practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, business formation, succession and transactional tax planning, representing individuals, closely-held entities and tax-exempt organizations. Adam enjoys working with clients to design and implement strategies that meet their specific planning objectives in the most efficient manner possible. Many of the Hausman Law Group clients have strong ties to the State of Florida. Adam enables the Hausman Law Group to assist those individuals and families on all aspects of Florida law.

Len Breslow is a partner in the law firm of Breslow & Walker, LLP with offices in Manhattan and Jericho Long Island.
